Similar Programs at Other Campuses
The UVM Eco-Reps Program is part of a broader sustainability in
higher education movement, largely coordinated by the efforts of
organizations such as the
Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). Since the first Eco-Reps program started at Tufts University in 2000, over thirty
similar programs have sprung up across the United States and Canada.
There are now efforts to bring more networking and collaboration
to our growing family. There are several similar peer-to-peer sustainability outreach programs
on other campuses across the United States and Canada. For a directory
of these programs, see the
AASHE website.
