So you want to Study Abroad!
Before you can study abroad you must get permission from the Dean of Students
Office. You can do so anytime between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm (avoiding
the noon hour) at Nicholson House. Please take the following steps in order
to successfully get your "Study Abroad Form" signed:
- Start by visiting the Center for Student Ethics & Standards (downstairs
from the Dean of Students Office in Nicholson House). CSES will determine
if you have a judicial record that the Dean of Students Office needs to
review.
- CSES will direct you upstairs where you will find a staff member in the
Dean of Students Office who will review your paperwork and sign your form.
- If you have a judicial record, you may need to sit down and explain the
circumstances that led up to your policy violation with a staff member in
the Dean of Students Office. Depending on the severity of your judicial
violation, you may or may not be granted permission to study abroad.
