What is your role at UVM?
I work with at-risk and struggling students and I coordinate research and assessment within the Division of Student and Campus Life. I also help to advise the Dean of Students Advisory Board, the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program, and I co-advise the Alilanza Latina.

What do you like most about UVM?
I love my colleagues! It is wonderful to work in an environment where you are inspired by those around you each and every day and it is especially fantastic to work with people who are passionately committed to students.

What do students need to know to succeed at UVM?
I think that students need to get involved and they need to try on different activities until they find their passion. Also, because I work with so many students who struggle, I would hope that students question the alcohol and drug culture and examine the impact of their decisions on themselves and others within the community.

Anything else?
Things I love: Project Runway, the Food Network, Doritos, dogs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, being a student again, and the Fall in Vermont!
