What is your role at UVM?
I am the go-to-guy for our divisional resources, financial and human. I am deeply
involved in our strategic planning process, our amazing diversity training initiatives
and the overall leadership of the division. I am also the liaison to Sodexho
Services and the contract manager for all our dining operations. I am certainly
not bored and trust me-no two days are ever the same!
In addition, as one of the few openly gay men on campus, I want to recognize
the struggle of being out at UVM. Please contact me if you ever need support
around being LGBTQ at UVM.
What do you like most about UVM?
UVM is an exciting place to work. President Fogel has brought a clear vision
for our institution and continues to grow our campus to meet that vision. I
adore my colleagues and admire our active student body. I am proud to work at
UVM and am happy to come to work each day.
What do students need to know to succeed at UVM?
Find your voice. Students can get lost on this campus so get involved, make
friends and stay active. Use the support systems available and if you don’t
know what to do, come to the Dean of Students Office and we will help you find
