Patrick Shannon
Penn
State University
Patrick shannon has taught and worked
with children and teachers across North America. He is a professor
of education at Penn State University and the author or editor of nine
books, including The Struggle to Continue, text, lies & videotape,
and Reading Poverty. He is currently working on a book considering
the effects of state and federal policies on literacy education in the
United States.
