Because this topic asks for a policy to decrease the "use" of WMD there are many potential affirmative cases .. anything which would reduce the risk of WMDs detonating. One of the most obvious and most publicized of all such policies is the concept of "missile defense" where various systems stop ballistic missiles aimed at a victim nation from reaching the target by blowing them out of the sky.
This affirmative case argues that missile defense is an excellent policy which should be adopted immediately and expansively.
There is another version of this case which would argue that missile defense is a bad policy and should be stopped. This section also serves as negative evidence against such a case.
