Homework
There will be approximately a problem set each week. Solutions will be distributed in class.
Exams
There will be three exams and a comprehensive final examination offered. The first exam is scheduled for February 13, the second examination is March 15 and the third is April 12. The final exam is scheduled for Friday May 3, 2013 10:30-13:15. The final grade will be based on the homework and the four exams.
Course Outline
Applications of quantum mechanics including quantum statistical mechanics, time-independent and time-dependent perturbation theory, WKB approximation, variational principle and scattering.
