Tosca is the passionate story of Roman Singer Floria Tosca, her lover the artist Cavaradossi, and the evil Police Inspector Scarpia who conspires to use the two for his own political ends and to satisfy his own lust. Set in Rome at the time of Napoleon's advance into the city, Tosca is filled with some of the most glorious music of opera's most popular composer. Teatro Lirico D'Europa's traditional Italian staging of Tosca has toured Europe with great success and features some of today's leading opera singers, under the baton of the current Metropolitan Opera Conductor Marco Armigliato. Complete with a full orchestra, chorus, and international soloists.
