Standard Weights
This set of standard weights is described in the adjustments document as being so close to the standards "that any corrections developed in the final comparisons are insensible"
The brass hook used to remove weigths, covered with calf skin.
The weights  are 25lbs, 10lbs, 5lbs, 5 lbs, 2lbs, 2lbs, and 1lb.
"Made for the U. S. Bureau of Weights and Measures by Henry Troemner Philada."
Calibration of the weights was achieved by placing small pieces of lead in the threaded hole where the handle is attatched. 
The box is constructed from mahogany.  The inside is solid poplar wood with a mahogany veneer on the surface.
