Smith Permeameter
Smith Doulble-bar Permeameter, manufactured by the W.M. Welch Co. Designed by Arthur W. Smith of  the University of  Michigan to measure the magnetic qualities of iron and steel. The two iron bars forming the closed magnetic circuit have well known magnetic characteristics.
