Robert C. Burt was a scientist
for Bell labs in New York, and a specialist in blowing glass for CRT's.
He later became a professor at Cal Tech
and married Eleanor Bedell, the daughter of Frederick Bedell a co-developer
of the oscilloscope. He ran the first oscilloscope business, that was short
lived.(1)
He also was involved in the design of a machine described as a "photo-electric number sieve".(2) |
