Mountain season is made up of five Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races. At each race, there are four events: two endurance events (Cross Country and Short Track Cross Country) and two gravity events (DH, Enduro, or Dual Slalom).
Men’s events have three categories: A, B, and C, while Women’s events have A and B.
Cyclocross season is different than Road and MTB, as the races we attend are not collegiate only. CX racers will race in standard USA Cycling categories 1-5. Most venues will have a race on Saturday and a race on Sunday.
Road season is made up of five Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races. At each race, there is a road race, a criterium, and a team time trial. Some races will have hill climbs, individual time trials, and circuit races. Men’s races have categories A-E, while Women’s races have A-D. Some races will have a beginner’s clinic to teach new riders how to compete in their first race safely
