Product Landscape
The (online) learning landscape is broad - both information rich and interactively diverse. The ELGG learning ecology approach highlights this rich environment. The list of product landscape is not exhaustive and, more importanly, doesn't exist in a vacuum. Important academic tools (Banner, eMail, Voyager, UVM Web, a (possible), delicious, citeulike, facebook, ratemyprofessor, turnitin, ...) are not listed directly but are taken to be given constants of the environment and are implicit "parts" of a "learning support system.";
However, for this project, we are mainly focused on a single component - something to replace WebCT 4. This might not be a full blown, enterprise integrated system, and might require a lot of manual administration, etc ...
