When users come into this lab, what should they expect to find here ?

Level 1. The machines probablly should closely match the machines folks find in public areas on campus.

  • If they have to login, they should use their NetID ... and we should
    • track usage
    • perhaps mount zoo drive (? how ?)
    • make sure all of that personal information is deleted when they logout or the machine is restarted.
    • especially "gaim"
    • especially "remember this password" feature of browser
  • the machine should be decently clean
    • junk from the last user should not be left on the machine, at least not on the desktop
