How to Edit Your Personal Settings

Are you getting too many emails from Blackboard? Want to get notified about upcoming due dates and other course activity?

You can control the emails that Blackboard sends you.

1. Log in to Blackboard and go to the My Places link at the top of the page. (see image below)
2. Click on “Edit Notification Settings”
3. Here you can choose to edit settings for individual courses, or to change settings for all courses. To edit settings for all courses, click on the “Courses I am Taking” (or “Teaching”) link on the right hand side of the page.
4. Use the checkboxes and columns to configure which events send email.
