Kind of cool, interesting, and debatable. What do you guys think?

I don't think that this is much of a problem.  They are paying them.

I agree with Brian; at first it seems kind of creepy, but then you realize that it is a chance for some folks to make some money. The only argument I would make is that they should get minimum wage maybe, or some sort of benefits other than just $20/day?

An actual payment by hour would probably be best, because then it's an actual job that they might one day not become homeless. Also, the only thing I see that people might debate is that this could seem to imply that it's ok to be homeless or that this somehow promotes them to stay homeless (not my view but yeah)
