Linking Institutional Purchasing and the Vermont Food Sector

This workshop discussed actual and potential linkages and partnerships between Vermont institutions and the Vermont food sector. Topics included applying Cornerstone Project lessons (see workshop #2) to the food sector, forming networks to promote institutional buying, university efforts to buy local food, and initiatives to increase local food purchasing throughout the public school system.
