Withdrawal of cholinesterase (AchE) inhibitors found to produce behavioral disturbances
Analysis of behavioral effects of AchE inhibitors in AD studies showed (Cummings et al):
- decreased apathy
- decreased anxiety
- possible decrease in hallucinations
Responders showed worse orbitofrontal functioning
