HLTH 053 A EMT Basic (6 credits) 95659 5:05 - 8:05 PM

Dates:  Aug 31 - Dec 09, 2015. Monday & Wednesday from 5:05 to 8:05 PM. There will be two Saturday classes on 10/31 & 12/5/15 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Lab Fee: $550; Location: Rowell 111 Classroom; Pre-requisites: All students must be currently certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) for the Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer prior to the first class; Course Description: Students successfully completing all course requirements will be eligible to sit for the Emergency Medical Technician license exam offered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

HLTH 053 B EMT Basic (6 credits) 95660 8:30-10:30 AM MWF; S

Dates:  Aug 31 - Dec 09, 2015. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. There will be three Saturday classes on 9/26, 10/31, & 12/5/15 from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Lab Fee: $550; Location: Rowell 111 Classroom; Pre-requisites: All students must be currently certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) for the Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer prior to the first class; Course Description:  Students successfully completing all course requirements will be eligible to sit for the Emergency Medical Technician license exam offered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

Dates:  Class starts on Tuesday, 9/1 and ends on Tuesday, 12/8. There will be two Saturday classes on 10/17 & 11/14/15 from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM in Rowell 111; Lab Fee: $950; Location: Rowell 111 Classroom Pre-requisites: Students must be licensed as an EMT and affiliated with a VT licensed EMS organization Course Description:  Prepares students to become Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Each student must successfully complete all of the requirements prior to sitting for the certification exams.
