Dr. Jennifer Laurent is a practicing family nurse practitioner in a Vermont rural family practice working with individuals and families since 1997. She joined the Department of Nursing full time in the fall of 2011 after teaching clinical graduate course work at the University of Vermont part-time since 2003. She received her B.S from the University of Connecticut-Storrs in 1991, a M.S from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 1997, and a Ph.D. from Duquesne University in 2010. In addition, Dr. Laurent serves as the president for the Vermont Nurse Practitioner Association and serves on the APRN Sub-Committee for the Vermont Board of Nursing.
