Intrauniversity Transfer Application

Transfer into UVM's Nursing program is very competitive. A high GPA will be considered favorably in the review process.

Additional factors of consideration include:

  • the capacity within the class for which the applicant is eligible to be admitted
  • the applicant's cumulative UVM grade point average
  • the applicant's performance in college-level science coursework
  • the clarity of the application essay as related to the applicant's future professional goals and/or previous experience
  • a letter of recommendation addressing the applicant's aptitude and suitability for the nursing profession. (To be mailed or emailed to the CNHS Office of Student Services.)
