Randy Kelley completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2014 from Walden University.  Dr. Kelley has been at the University of Vermont since 2009. He teaches didactic and clinical courses to both graduate and undergraduate nursing students. While working primarily within the critical care setting during his nursing career, he has also held positions in the following healthcare sectors: Public Health, Quality Assurance, Management, Emergency Medicine, Travel Nursing, Critical Care Transport, and Occupational Health.  Dr. Kelley believes strongly: Education is a lifelong journey, one requiring individuals to continue to adapt as technology, research, and practices are continually evolving.  Such change is essential to optimize healthcare delivery and incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.  It is for these reasons he remains clinically active at the bedside working within the Surgical and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at Fletcher Allen; which he believes, fosters his ability to maintain currency and role-model best practices both inside and outside of the classroom.
