Researcher in applied mathematics, mathematics of climate, human dynamics and social networks. His research interests are in the mathematics of weather and climate, dynamical systems perspectives on data assimilation, and studying human social networks using “Big Data.”
Working with Christopher Danforth, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics UVM
Multidisciplinary researcher blending various problems in power engineering with complex systems and network science. His research interests lie at the broad interface of analysis of cascading failures in interdependent power and communications networks; false-data attacks in smart grids; fault location and optimal measurement placement in large-scale power grids.
Working with Paul Hines, Associate Professor, School of Engineering UVM
