December Graduates Recognition Celebration
Important Information for Faculty
The December Graduates Recognition Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 for those students who have fulfilled the requirements for their degree by the end of the summer semester, and for those who are slated to complete the requirements for their degree by the end of the fall semester. All faculty are invited to attend and participate in the academic procession.
The recognition celebration will start with a ceremony from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Roy L. Patrick Gymnasium, immediately followed by a reception from 11:00 a.m. - noon in the Multipurpose Facility. President Daniel Mark Fogel and Interim Provost Jane E. Knodell will offer remarks, as will other members of the administration and faculty.The academic procession will queue at 9:30 a.m. at the Dance Studio in Patrick Gym. As University Marshal and President of the Faculty Senate, Jim Burgmeier will lead the procession which will include the platform party and faculty. Students will not process; they will sit in the reserved student seating section. Faculty planning to process should arrive no later than 9:25 a.m. at the Dance Studio wearing full academic regalia.
