December Graduates Recognition Celebration

Important Information for Faculty

The December Graduates Recognition Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 for those students who have fulfilled the requirements for their degree. All faculty are invited to attend and participate in the academic procession.

The recognition celebration will start with a ceremony from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in Ira Allen Chapel, followed by a buffet brunch from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Billings Center. President Daniel Mark Fogel and Provost John M. Hughes will offer remarks, as will other members of the administration and faculty.

The academic procession will queue at 8:30 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Billings Round Room. The procession will include the platform party and faculty, led by Robyn Warhol-Down, University Marshal and President of the Faculty Senate. Students will not process; they will sit with their guests in Ira Allen Chapel. Faculty planning to process should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. at the 2nd Floor Billings Round Room wearing full academic regalia.
