IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Due to a favorable weather forecast, the University Commencement Main Ceremony and the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony will be held outdoors on the University Green as originally planned. (Tickets are not required.)


In the event of severe weather, the College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony will be held indoors in the Multipurpose Facility on the Athletic Campus. See below for Severe Weather Information . Please visit the UVM home page at www.uvm.edu or call (802) 656-3309 or toll free (800) 903-6601 beginning Saturday afternoon, May 19, for an announcement regarding this possible change of venue.

Location: University Green

Parking: Please park in your college/school designated parking area
Start Time: 
12:30 p.m.
End Time:  3:00 p.m.
Tickets:  Tickets are not necessary if the ceremony is held outdoors. In the event of severe weather, tickets will be required to attend the College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony at its indoof venue. (see Severe Weather Plan below) Click here for more ticket information.
Line-up Location:  Chittenden-Buckham-Wills (CBW Green)
Line-up Time: Immediately following the main ceremony, 11:45 am
Regalia:
Students should arrive at the line-up location wearing their regalia
Photographer: GradImages. Visit the GradImages website at www.gradimages.com to pre-register or to order prints.  Pre-event registration is encouraged.  Prints can be ordered online or by phone at 800-261-2576. Videographer: A DVD of this ceremony will be available for purchase from the UVM Bookstore.

Diplomas:
Diplomas will be handed out in the Royall Tyler Theatre (or, if the ceremony is held indoors, in the South University Heights lobby) following the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony. Unclaimed diplomas will be returned to the Registrar's Office. After Sunday, diplomas may be picked up at the Student Service Center located on the 3rd floor of the Waterman Building during the following times: Monday, May 21, 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday - Friday, May 22 – 25, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed the week of May 29th.

Severe Weather Plan


Severe Weather Venue for the College of Arts and Sciences
