Due to an unfavorable weather forecast for Sunday, May 20, the main commencement ceremony has been moved indoors to the Multipurpose Facility at Patrick Gymnasium.

Information Center. Information tables can be found at the Student Service Center in the main lobby of the Waterman Building and the main lobby of Patrick Gymnasium.

Sodexho Food Service. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sodexho tents in front of Patrick Gymnasium.

Restrooms. Restrooms are located in the main lobby of the Patrick Gymansium and portable restrooms are located out side the entrance to the main lobby of the Multipurpose Facility. All restrooms are handicapped accessible.

Special Needs. Ushers wearing yellow vests are available to assist with requests for: FM hearing impaired devices, commencement programs in Braille, special assistance seating.

Flower Sales. The Golden Key International Honour Society is selling flowers in the main lobbies of both the Patrick Gymnasium and the Multipurpose Facility.

UVM Bookstore. The UVM Bookstore, located in the Davis Center, is open from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2007. It offers a complete supply of UVM clothing, gifts, diploma frames, and other merchandise. Commencement DVDs may also be ordered at the Bookstore.

Lost and Found for people and property is located at the Information Center in the main lobby of Patrick Gymnasium. After 1:00 p.m. contact UVM Police Services at 284 East Ave.

Shuttle Bus Service. Buses leaving Patrick Gymnasium after the main ceremony will go to the Watertower Lot (near the Given and Ag/Engineering buildings) and the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center, and to the Ira Allen Chapel and downtown Burlington.

First Aid. First aid facilities are available during the main commencement ceremony. If the ceremony is indoors, the UVM Rescue Squad will be located outside the main entrance to Patrick Gymnasium.

Emergencies. In the event of a true emergency, dial (802) 656-4000 from a cell phone to reach the UVM Police Services or use one of the “Blue Light” emergency phones located throughout the campus. In either case you will be connected immediately with the emergency dispatcher.
