Commencement 2006

Weather

Due to an unfavorable forecast for Sunday, May 21, the Main Ceremony will be held in the Multipurpose Facility at Patrick Gymnasium. Seating in the Multipurpose Facility for families and friends of the graduates will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and overflow seating in the Patrick Gym will feature a closed-circuit broadcast of the ceremony. Tickets are not required.

The ceremony for the College of Arts and Sciences has been moved to 2:30 pm in Multipurpose Facilty. The academic procession will form at 1:30 pm in the Indoor Track. Tickets are not required.

Student and Faculty Procession for Main Ceremony:

Students, dressed in cap and gown, will line up for the academic procession at 8 a.m. at the Indoor Track in Patrick Gymnasium and will proceed to the Multipurpose Facility where they will sit together, not with their families and guests as originally planned.

Faculty dressed in regalia will line up for the academic procession at 8 a.m.in the Gymnastics Facility at Patrick Gymnasium.
