216th Commencement Ceremonies - May 20 and 21, 2017

Diploma Distribution

Undergraduate Diplomas:
The president will confer degrees at the University Commencement Main Ceremony. Diplomas will be distributed at each college/school ceremony with the exception of the College of Arts and Sciences (see below). After Sunday, May 21, unclaimed diplomas may be picked up at the Student Service Center located in the Waterman Building, Monday, May 22, noon-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, May 23-26, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed during the week of May 29. Questions regarding diplomas should be addressed to the registrar’s office 802-656-2045. Degree Candidates are asked to confirm their post commencement mailing address by updating their permanent address from within myUVM

College of Arts and Sciences Diplomas:
Diplomas may be picked up in the Royall Tyler Theatre (or if the ceremony is held indoors in the South University Heights lobby) following the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony. After Sunday, May 21, unclaimed diplomas may be picked up at the Student Service Center located in the Waterman Building Monday, May 22, noon-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, May 23-26, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed during the week of May 29. Questions regarding diplomas should be addressed to the registrar’s office 802-656-2045. Honors College:
Diplomas are not awarded at the Honors College Scholars Recognition Ceremony. Diplomas will be awarded at each home college/school ceremony on Sunday, May 21.

Graduate College Diplomas:
The president will confer all master’s and doctoral degrees at the Graduate College Commencement Ceremony. Degree candidates will receive their academic hood and diploma during the ceremony. After Sunday, May 21, unclaimed diplomas may be picked up at the Student Service Center located in the Waterman Building, Monday, May 22, noon-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, May 23-26, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed during the week of May 29. The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine Diplomas:
The president will confer degrees and diplomas will be awarded at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine Commencement Ceremony. Unclaimed diplomas for Larner College of Medicine students will be mailed to them. Questions regarding diplomas should be addressed to the registrar’s office 802-656-2045. Degree Candidates are asked to confirm their post commencement mailing address by updating their permanent address from within myUVM
