Aus der Tiefe rufe ich:

Jesu From the depths cry out do I:

Jesu Gnade tröste mich.

Jesus' blessing comfort me.

Ich hab Unrecht zwar getan,

I have the wrong truly done ,

aber Jesus nimmt mich an.

yet doth Jesus me accept.

Jesus, addressed him with scorn
