History 95

Study of personal, family, and community identity using primary and secondary sources of genealogical information, evaluation of evidence from needlework and old photos to public offices, libraries, and microfilms. Individual attention for each student. This course is 3XC credits, which means that the course carries three academic hours of credit, with extended credit (XC) for projects and papers to be completed after the course ends. (In other words, you don't have to have all the work done by June 26; sort of an up-front extension!) Students may take the course for credit, if they want units on their transcript, or for audit only, which means they don't get credit but also don't have to do required assignments.

Prerequisites:
None.
