Classics courses are divided into three subject areas: Classics (CLAS), Greek (GRK), and Latin (LAT).
The Greek and Latin courses (GRK and LAT) are foreign language classes, and so they must be taken in sequence.
Classics courses, however, require no knowledge of Greek and Latin, although they may have other prerequisites.
The first three links under "Courses" are links within the Classics Department, and have specific information about specific courses. You can find who is teaching what when, syllabuses, schedules, and links to individual professors' Web materials for their individual courses there.
The next four links take you to the UVM Course Catalog or to the Registrar's Web page.
