The Center for Health and Wellbeing offers both mental health services and strengths-based care to all degree-seeking students taking classes on campus.

We strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental, and affirming space where you can explore your needs. Our counselors come from diverse clinical and cultural backgrounds with expertise in responding to the wide range of mental health concerns faced by students.

To get started with care, schedule a triage appointment through the MyWellbeing health portal or call 802-656-3340. Most students will be able to speak with a counselor within a day of calling. You and your triage counselor will work together to determine your next steps with CAPS.

Serving Marginalized Communities

Systems of privilege, power, and oppression can negatively impact students and their mental health and wellbeing. In keeping with our values as the Center for Health and Wellbeing and our commitment to health equity, CAPS prioritizes the needs of members of oppressed groups.
