Request a Program

In addition to programs hosted by Living Well, we provide & coordinate education and prevention programming to the campus community, often called "outreach." Presentations and workshops are offered to UVM students in a variety of settings (e.g., residence life, student organizations, academic departments, and classroom lectures).

Outreach programs can be initiated by student and/or staff requests, or even by our own staff in efforts to bring issues of concern to various campus populations. Our staff prepare programs aimed at improving student life experiences and preventing academic, emotional, physical, or social difficulties. Outreach formats include workshops, trainings, lectures, discussions, information tables, pamphlets, and/or being present at various events.

Outreach topics include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Emotional Wellness
  • Cultural Adjustment
  • Helping Skills
  • Adjustment to College
  • Creating Healthy Relationships
  • Communication Skills
  • Diversity
  • Stress Management
  • Alcohol & Other Drug Issues
  • Sexual Health & Sexuality
  • Eating/Body Image Concerns
