More Info

Work-study students (also called Wellness Associates) work on programs, events and marketing relating to various health topics (link to A-Z) (substance abuse, safer sex issues, nutrition and body image, healthy relationships, and more).

If you’re curious about what you might do during a work-study shift, read ahead!

As a Work-Study Student, you might:

  • Decorate a room for an event
  • Prepare materials for a safer sex program in a residence hall
  • Design and create a bulletin board that will be distributed around campus
  • Watch a video to learn more about a health issue
  • Supervise a game at one of our events
  • Give out free stuff at an informational table
  • Flyer and poster around campus
  • Engage in biweekly staff meetings
  • Work on an Independent Project of your interest

You do NOT have to have a health background to work in our office. What we would like to see is a positive attitude, creativity, good work ethic, and the ability to work well with others. We are looking for fun and energetic individuals!
