Alcohol & Other Drug Counseling
AOD Counseling at Redstone offers a variety of services to support the challenges that university students face regarding alcohol and other drug use, including:
- Individual counseling for students wanting to learn more about their own use of alcohol and other drugs or who are worried about a friend or family member's use.
- Consultations for students who are working with the Center for Student Ethics and Standards (CSES) due to violating UVM's alcohol and other drug policies.
- Referrals to community providers for students with current alcohol and other drug legal charges.
- Assistance in referring to medical, psychiatric and / or outside treatment facilities, as well as to recovery and support groups.
- Education and prevention efforts through out Outreach Program.
