有关会务费的通知

第八届国际汉语教学学术研讨会境外参会者的会务费为200美元。会务费包括:1)会议期间的礼堂、会议室、视听设备的租用费, 2)会议期间的餐费,3)会议文件费。不包括住宿、通讯以及会后旅游费用。在读硕士或博士生(凭有效学生证及学校证明信)会务费可减半。会务费交付日期与论文上交期相同:201041。届时未收到会务费的参会者不安排会议发言亦不出版其论文。只参会不发表论文者41日以后仍可交付会务费,但会务费增加15%即增至$230。使用其它货币者按照31日与美元的汇率计算交付相当数额的会务费。

交付会务费后因故不能参会者,可在61日前通知大会组委会(jyin@uvm.edu),会务费可退还50%。原计划发言者同时取消其会议发言安排。61日之后不再退还。因故不能参会的发言人应该在71日前自行选定其代理发言人,并通知大会组委会。不按规定日期通知大会组委会并擅自缺席会议者,将被列为今后会议不受欢迎的人。以上办法由大会组委会为保障参会人权益并保证会议顺利进行而定,请各位参会者给予理解与合作。

You should send a scanned copy of your wire-transfer receipt by email to jyin@uvm.edu.  The official receipt for the conference fee will be provided to you on the conference registration date, July 24, 2010.

The conference fee covers 1) charges for using an auditorium and conference rooms as well as audio-visual equipment, 2) expenses for meals during the conference, and 3) costs for conference documents.  The conference fee does not cover costs for hotel rooms, telecommunication expenses, and post-conference tours.  Graduate students with a valid study ID and an official letter of student status verification can get 50% discount of the conference fee.   Paper presenters should pay the conference fee by April 1, 2010, or we will not make further arrangement for his/her paper presentation time.  Those who will attend the conference without presenting a paper may pay the conference fee after April 1, 2010, but the conference fee will be $230 (a 15% increase).   Payments with other currency other than US dollars can be made according to the exchange rate of the currency to US dollars on March 1, 2010.

If for some reason you will not be able to attend the conference after the conference fee is paid, you will need to notify the Conference Organizing Committee (jyin@uvm.edu) by June 1, 2010 and get 50% refund of the conference fee.  The arrangement for your paper presentation will be cancelled unless another conference attendee to present your paper is designated and reported to the Conference Committee by July 1, 2010.  Those who miss the conference without notifying the Conference Organizing Committee by July 1, 2010 will be listed as persona non grata in the future conferences.   The above measures have been taken to protect the right and interest of all conference attendees and to assure the success of the conference.  The Conference Organizing Committee would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
