  • *Either CHEM 161 or CHEM 162 is required
  • **CHEM 167 is taken concurrently with CHEM 161, but not required with CHEM 162. MATH 121 can be substituted for CHEM 167
  • CE 252 or CE 253 is required for the major. These courses are offered every year or every other year. They should be taken as early as possible (e.g. beginning in the spring semester of the 2nd year) to be sure of availability.
  • An additional course (besides CE 252 or CE 253) is required in either Civil & Environmental Engr or Geology from the following list: CE 150, CE 252, CE 253, GEOL 233, GEOL 234, GEOL 235, or GEOL 255
  • CHEM 031/032 can be substituted for CHEM 035/036
  • CHEM 141/142 can be substituted for CHEM 143/144
  • PHYS 051 (or PHYS 031 + PHYS 021) can be substituted for PHYS 011 + 21
  • PHYS 152 (or PHYS 042 + PHYS 022) can be substituted for PHYS 012 + 22
