Michigan Forest Stewardship Program Survey Details
In mid-May, the Forest Stewardship Coordinator at theMichigan Department of Natural Resources, Mike Smalligan, sent a letter asking program participants to complete an evaluation of the Forest Stewardship Program.
We are collaborating with the USDA Forest Service in studying state programs, such as Michigan’s Forest Stewardship Program, that assist forest landowners to pursue sustainable forest management and to understand the carbon sequestration potential of their forest. We have also partnered with MI Department of Natural Resources to provide them anonymous feedback on your experience with the Forest Stewardship Program.
Rachael Beddoe is the University of Vermont researcher working with Mr. Smalligan to conduct the evaluation. Click here for a .pdf of the survey if yours has been misplaced. The survey should take only 10-15 minutes of your time. Participation is completely voluntary, and we will keep all of your responses confidential.
Please complete the survey and return in the envelope provided by June 15th. Also, your envelope will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card as a modest thank you for your time in filling out the survey. If your envelope has been misplaced you may provide your own, or email your responses to Rachael.
We appreciate your time and attention. If you have any question, please feel free to contact me.
