Technology in the College of Education and Social Services
Today’s students are “digital natives,” born into a world in which telecommunications and computer technologies comprise a natural and dynamic landscape in which to learn, play, share and communicate.
By addressing the changing needs of a technologically literate society, the College of Education and Social Services advances its leadership role in incorporating best practices of technology integration in professional work, research, and instruction.
Technology for Teaching Lab
The Technology for Teaching Lab was founded in 1996. Our mission is to promote an environment to encourage, assist, and support students, faculty, and staff to feel comfortable with and enhance their technologies into present and future classroom and personal activities.
The TFT Lab is located at room 540 of the Waterman Building. The lab employs one full time director, a technical support specialist and several workstudy students.
