Undergraduate Advising

Exceptional academic advising requires both the advisee (student) and advisor (faculty) to be both well informed and fully engaged in the process and the CATS report provides the necessary information.

It is the students' responsibility to familiarize themselves with the advising materials so that they are prepared to make informed decisions throughout their program in the College of Education and Social Services (CESS). In addition to these materials, students will also have access to their CATS (Curriculum Audit Tracking System) report. It is a more comprehensive version of the Program Checksheet and shows courses that are in progress, includes assigned grades for completed courses, notes your GPA, and generally tracks your progress right through program completion.
