- Holden Waterman: Benigna Education Award from Moravian College: The Benigna award recognizes an alumna or alumnus for outstanding contributions to the field of education. (2008)
- Leon Walls: Jane and Michael Wilson Doctoral Award in Science Education from Purdue University: This award recognizes an outstanding doctoral dissertation. Nominations are handled through the departments. Each department has one winner, and one of them is selected for the College award. A certificate and monetary award is given.

- Leon Walls: Bilsland Strategic Initiatives Fellowship from Purdue University: The Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship is a Graduate School fellowship which provides support to an outstanding College of Education Ph.D. candidate in the final year of doctoral degree completion. Applicants must have completed their coursework, passed their qualifying examinations, and have an approved dissertation proposal. (2008)

- Penny Bishop: Sir Ian Axford Public Policy Fellowship from Fulbright New Zealand: Established by the New Zealand Government in partnership with the private sector to reinforce links between New Zealand and the United States, Ian Axford (New Zealand) Fellowships in Public Policy give outstanding American professionals opportunities to research, travel and gain practical experience in public policy in New Zealand, including first-hand knowledge of economic, social and political reforms and management of the government sector. The programme has three goals: To reinforce New Zealand-United States links by enabling Americans of high intellectual ability and leadership potential to come to New Zealand to gain experience and build contacts in the field of public policy development; To help improve the practice of public policy in New Zealand and the United States by the cross-fertilization of ideas and experience in the two countries; and to build a network of public policy experts on both sides of the Pacific. - Jane Okech: Outstanding Faculty Woman Award from University of Vermont’s Women’s Center and Women’s & Gender Studies Program: 2007-Outstanding Faculty Woman Award. University of Vermont’s Women’s Center and Women’s & Gender Studies Program, Burlington, VT, USA. This award honors faculty women who have made significant contributions to the lives of women on campus through service, teaching and feminist scholarship. (2007)
- Kathleen Manning: Outstanding Contribution to Literature or Research from National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Foundation: "Nominees for this award must demonstrate professional commitment to student affairs administration. Their literature and/or research will be judged by how well student affairs practitioners use it. - Kathleen Manning: Faculty Fellow from National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Foundation,: The NASPA Faculty Fellows group was established in 2002 to provide consultation and contributions to NASPA in the following areas:
* Direct policy input on such issues as quality assurance in student affairs, diversity, and graduate preparation;
* Promote scholarship as part of the professional responsibility for all faculty and practitioners; and
* Provide direction concerning NASPA research priorities and initiatives.

- Jane Okech: Outstanding Article Award from Editorial Board-Journal for Specialist in Group Work: 2005-Outstanding Article Award-Selected by the 30 editorial board members of the Journal for Specialist in Group work. This national award was presented on April 1, 2006 at the Annual American Counseling Association Conference in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. (2005)

- Marie MacLeod: Distinguished Service Award from Vermont Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association: A peer nominated award for a chapter member who has made an ongoing contribution to the profession of physical therapy. The recipient will have demonstrated commitment, beyond that inherent in being a member of the profession, to the development of physical therapy in any of the following areas: Education, Clinical Research, Clinical Skill, Community Service, APTA or its components. Castetter Award of Merit from University of Pennsylvania---Graduate School of Education: This award recognizes an alumnus or alumna of the Graduate School of Education for significant service to the School. The contribution to GSE must be extraordinary and voluntary. (2004)
- Ellen Baker: Teacher of the Year for Washington Central Supervisory Union from State Department of Education and University of Vermont: This award is a peer nomination and is awarded to one teacher for each district in the state of Vermont. (1985)
