Steve Pomeroy (Ed.D. Program)

Steve Pomeroy is currently working as the Associate Director and Lecturer at Norwich University, and has also served there as the Dean of the School of National Services and a Professor of Naval Science. As a Marine Corps leader, served as Commanding Officer of a carrier-based F/A-18 Fighter Squadron, Commanding Officer of a Marine Aircraft Group, and Commanding Officer of a NROTC Unit. He’s participated in exercises and combat operations across the globe and has extensive operational and combat experience. Steve has Master’s Degrees in Business Administration, Military Studies, and National Security Strategy. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and has done graduate work in Aviation Safety and Disabilities Studies. His research focus is in undergraduate student retention and attrition studies, with a focus on conducting meta-analysis of factors affecting student retention through hierarchical linear modeling. He enjoys Alpine Skiing, Ice Hockey, and Golf.
