Karen Orr is the Assistant to the Chair and to the Director of Teacher Education for the Department of Education at UVM. She also assists with the Curriculum & Instruction ME.D. program. Karen graduated from Trinity College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Karen lives in Essex Junction with her husband, Dan. She has three sons, Ross 27, Nick, 22 and Jake, 20. Nick and Jake both attend UVM. Karen enjoys taking fitness classes at UVM, traveling, skiing, swimming, kayaking and reading. Please contact her for general Department of Education questions.
