Kelly is Assistant to the Dean. In this capacity, she is the primary contact for the Dean while handling her calendar, travel arrangements, and meeting preparations. Kelly also oversees the processing of faculty RPT and sabbatical materials, course changes, college calendars, meeting minutes and agendas, college committee membership including working with the Executive Committee, and special event planning. Kelly is currently serving a 3 year term on the University Benefits Advisory Council (UBAC) and sub-committee, the CESS Staff Advisory Council (SAC), and is the founding leader of the UVM Dean's Assistants group. She is a past representative to the University Staff Council. Kelly is active in social networking groups and in physical pursuits such as softball, tennis, skiing (Nordic and Alpine). She most recently took up running, participating in (3) - 5k races in her first 4 months.
