Staff Biography | Colleen MacKinnon
Colleen Thornton MacKinnon serves as the Director of Assessment and Accreditation for the College of Education and Social Services. In addition, Dr. MacKinnon teaches Foundations courses, which focus on the history, philosophy, and sociology of education. With nearly two decades of experience serving as a school director, Dr. MacKinnon currently chairs the Chittenden South Supervisory Union School Board of Directors and is a member of the Hinesburg School District Board of Directors. Research interests include school architecture, school governance, educational technology, and the use of mixed methodologies in community action and policy development.
