Susan is currently co-coordinator of the Early Childhood PreK-3 Program. She is a former kindergarten and preschool teacher and has been involved with the PreK-3 Early Childhood Program since completing graduate work there in 1993. She mentors pre-service teachers during their K-3 public school internships and student teaching (EDEC 296, EDEC 187), as well as coordinates all the K-3 placements in area schools. She has been a co-coordinator of the Vermont Kindergarten Conference (a collaboration between the Vt. Agency of Education and UVM Early Childhood Programs) since it's inception in 1992. Her professional interests include statewide advocacy projects; children's literature, and joyful learning. "Nothing Without Joy" (Loris Malaguzzi)
