She finds the faculty to be highly knowledgeable, friendly, engaging with students and more like family than colleagues! They are extraordinary faculty who live and breathe the College's "Making a Difference" mantra. She enjoys the interaction with the students & takes great pleasure in seeing the students go from A to Z, from their initial contact with UVM to becoming a new and vibrant teacher out in the field impacting the lives of students in such a positive way. When not at the University, Margie enjoys driving on the back roads of Vermont & finding great spots to walk her two dogs. She loves the various winter and summer activities in Burlington, but mostly spending time with her friends and family & two teenage daughters. "Where would I be without Vermont friends & family?
