Applicants for all majors at UVM are expected to have met the following minimum requirements by the end of their senior year:
Coursework not completed at the high school level may be fulfilled by equivalent college-level academic work.
In general, one semester of college work is considered the equivalent of
one year of high school study.
Any exceptions to these requirements are made on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants to all majors in the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS) are expected to have met the following minimum requirements by the end of their senior year:
Students with strong performance in a college preparatory program, including chemistry, physics and calculus, with combined New SAT scores of 1800, are well-positioned to succeed in the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.
