Our guest speaker will be Ms. Jennifer Dahlquist Schonher, UVM Class of 1988. Ms. Schonher is currently a Solution Architect at Salesforce.com, a Fortune 500 company specializing in enterprise cloud computing, including social and mobile technologies designed to help companies connect with customers, partners, and employees in entirely new ways.
Ms. Schonher graduated from UVM in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. She moved to California in 1988, where she worked for 16 years with Beckman Coulter Incorporated, a global company that produces products to simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. With Beckman Coulter, Ms. Schonher began as a Field Service Engineer and was promoted to Field Service Manager, then Customer Relations Manager for North America, and Global Business Process Manager. From 2004 to 2010, Ms. Schonher worked as a Project Manager for JS Consulting. In this role, she led a global, cross-functional team to redesign a manufacturing business process for Beckman Coulter.
In 2010, Ms. Schonher returned to Beckman Coulter where she assumed responsibility for driving the global customer experience strategy and for governance of commercial operations worldwide. In 2011, Ms. Schonher began her work at Salesforce.com where she continues to develop and implement innovative business solutions using advanced technologies. In 25 years since Ms. Schonher graduated from UVM, she has established herself as a highly successful businessperson. Her training in engineering and the mathematical sciences gave her an excellent foundation for engineering the global deployment of business solutions.
